Professor Emenike Chinedozi Ejiogu holds Master of Engineering Studies from the University of Nigeria and PhD in Power Devices & Systems from the National Shinshu University, Nagano-city, Japan. Professor Ejiogu’s experience spans the Academia & Industry.

He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, BKC, Kusatsu-city Japan from 1997.09 – 2001.09; Director of Technology, Energy & Environmental Technology Inc., Osaka, Japan from 2005.12 to 2008; Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MicroSilitron Inc., Laboratory, Biwako Campus, Faculty of Science & Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Kusatsu-city, Japan from 2007.04 to 2009; Research Professor, ,Mirai Denchi Labaratory, High Tech Research Centre, Ritsumeikan University, ,Kustatsu-shi, Shiga-ken, Japan between 2009.10 and 2013; Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Nigeria, since July 2011; Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka from August 2013 to July 2016; Director, Computer Communication Centre, UNN (2017/2018 Session). Professor Ejiogu is currently the Chairman of Board, UNN Water Resources Management Limited also knows as Lion Water and the Executive Adviser, to the Vice Chancellor on Special Projects, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is also a key member of several Professional Societies- Member, New York Academy of Sciences, New York, USA since 1996; Member, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), USA since 1992; Member, Japan Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEEJ), Tokyo, Japan since 1994; Registered Engineer, Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) since 2011 and Board member, Nigerian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Tokyo, Japan since 2011. Professor Ejiogu also has to his credit over six (6) international patents/inventions in engineering and over 65 publications in peer reviewed international journals & conferences. He is highly skilled in initiating and carrying out original research topics in the areas of Engineering & Science with relevant applications in industry & society in general, more especially as relates to industrial electronics, electrical power devices and new energy systems such as wind, solar, bio-diesel, etc. His skills also include Industry-oriented/industry-specific research & development, patenting techniques, Engineering & Technological Business Incubation and mentoring, linkage initiatives between industry-to- academia, academia-to-academia, etc, and sourcing of project funds.
